On November 26, at the Radisson BLU Scandinavia in Oslo, Digi and TU are bringing together some of the leading experts, researchers, technology companies, and decision-makers to explore how generative artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the future. AI unlocks new opportunities in innovation, efficiency, and automation, and we will showcase how various sectors can benefit from these breakthroughs. At brAIn 2024 companies that have already achieved significant results with AI, discussed how technology is transforming workplaces and society. Additionally, spotlight was on the industries that stand to gain the most by adopting AI now. Following industry tracks were covered: Transportation, Telecom, Finance, and Energy Management.  I am proud that I was representing Ericsson Service Area Networks as a speaker on Telecom track. Topic of my session was how AI can increase resilience of Telecom networks. Simple answer is that the cheapest way to deal with a problem is to identify the trend and solve it in the early phase, before it happens. This is called pre-emptive and predictive maintenance and we have shown how portfolio of AI Apps in Service continuity (https://lnkd.in/df9SzA-h) can help operators to reduce critical alarms by 30%, events affecting performance by 60% or reduce electricity bill by 15%. Logic of 3 steps : 1) making sense of data and structure it, 2) use domain expertise to address proper problems that can be solved with AI, 3) Industrialize solution by model scalability, hardening and ML Ops. This is valid for other industries as well, not only Telecom. Norway is at the crossroad to become next big innovation hub of Europe, using AI as disruptive technology . #Bavaria is rapidly developing into a leading location for artificial intelligence in Europe - it is not only home to pioneering AI solutions, but also many exciting examples of innovative applications in everyday life.🌐 Projects involving artificial intelligence include, for example, the use of an AI-controlled robot dog to prevent vandalism at Deutsche Bahn or an AI-controlled traffic light from Yunex Traffic to improve road safety.🚦 The Bavarian state government is intensively promoting the networking of research, start-ups and companies in order to support the development of AI. With an investment volume of around 5.5 billion euros, the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda is setting comprehensive standards in areas such as artificial intelligence. Projects like the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich show that Bavaria is characterised by first-class research and education. The Bavarian AI Agency connects experts from business and science, thereby strengthening Bavaria as a global AI centre.🌍 Initiatives such as the ‘baiosphere’ AI network and specialised hubs in cities such as Würzburg, Erlangen and Nuremberg are driving forward the research and application of AI.
