There is no level of experience or accomplishment in this industry where you outgrow the importance of training. Too much is at stake for the client and for the agent to support themselves for professional development to be on the back burner. #realestate #training #bestpractices

So I've had two experiences this week alone where it's evident that agents need to attend training 1 was just a silly kind of rookie mistake and agent made where if they had attended training they probably would have avoided that mistake. And the other one was a much more experienced agent whose skill set seemed to drift off the main message. And it's almost like they forgot the principles that they needed to draw upon to sell effectively. And it all goes back to the profound importance of training. On both sides of the table, this is the largest transaction of most people's lives and we owe it to them. And this is how hard working agents, perhaps like yourself, put so much effort in. You owe it to yourself to make sure that you're on your game. We used to say, look, even Michael Jordan has a coach. And look if your office, if that training is just a bunch of dry, droll announcements that does not elevate your game, then go to where you'll get real professional development and training. That makes you better. And I will say this shameless self promotion, that's what we have here. But it only works when you go. So go to training, and if your office does not offer effective training, go to one that does. Good luck.

Phil you are at the top of your game when it comes to training. You never disappoint and I always learn something or am reminded of something that had forgotten.

So true, training should be a constant. I would add that great agents never grow out of coaching, too. Training only gets an a person so far. Personalization of the material, implementation and accountability are matters that a coach will take you to the highest level.
