Attorney Spotlight! Meet JSC Legal Attorney – Marissa J. Miller Marissa is a dedicated attorney with JSC Legal. Marissa’s practice areas include, but are not limited to, family law, guardianships and conservatorships, probate, estate planning, and civil litigation. Marissa obtained her undergraduate degree from our very own University of Northern Iowa and pursed her legal education at Drake University Law School. During her time at Drake Law School, she participated in the General Civil Practice Drake Legal Clinic which provided her practical experience as a student attorney in family law and guardianship cases. Her work with the General Civil Practice Clinic gained her recognition from the Iowa Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates through their Promising 3L Trial Advocate Award. Beyond her legal practice, Marissa is engaged as a mentor through the Job Foundation and was recently appointed to serve District 1B on the Judicial Nominations Committee. Marissa enjoys spending time with her family and partner, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, and reading.
