And while we have a rich network of such facilities in our region, many entrepreneurs are unaware of those assets or struggle to gain access to them for one reason or another. The Series A funding was led by Autotech Ventures, with participation from us via the UCL Technology Fund and BGF. Charging speed remains a significant hurdle in the adoption of passenger and commercial electric vehicles (EVs). Gaussion’s novel external magnetic field solution radically enhances battery performance and extends battery life. Its technology offers a scalable solution that could impact various sectors, including transportation, energy storage, and construction. “Slow charging speed and battery degradation are currently limiting the wide-scale adoption of electric vehicles and the broader energy transition. Congratulations to Molten team. Another Methane Pyrolysis startup is joining the innovation league of existing players (e.g., BASF, Hazer Group, C-Zero, Ekona, Hycamite, Aurora, Modern H2, Monolith Material, etc.). They each have different technological approaches with a) Thermal non-catalytic, b) Catalytic, or c) Plasma which leads to different product forms of 'solid carbon' in addition to H2 gas. For Molten, their Pyrolysis process focus is to produce graphite byproduct for Lithium-ion battery market. Graphite as a stable electricity conductor is used in anode side of lithium-ion batteries. Interest for methane pyrolysis is high for gas utility companies to decarbonize use of Natural Gas at the point of customer use.
