How many workers are needed to install a 60' or 100' Horizontal Lifeline? What kind of tools are needed? Do you have a torque wrench on hand? How much tension do you need and how can you verify you're meeting that requirement? MSA Safety HLL can be installed by one person, requires no tools of any kind, and comes with a built-in tension indicator. No more guessing!

Consistency is key when it comes to mastering hose handling and nozzle operations. Whether you’re flowing a smoothbore, combination, or fixed gallonage nozzle, regular training is essential for staying sharp and effective on the fireground. 💦 One critical safety tip: always flow water before training or entering a structure to clear any air from the hose line, as seen by Jeff here at Task Force Tips. This ensures a smooth and steady flow when you need it most, preventing dangerous bursts or delays. Safety starts with preparation—keep training, keep flowing, and stay safe.🔥 #FirehouseTraining #HoseHandling #NozzleFlow #SafetyFirst

C=0 is a term used in sampling that means that if you find a failure you have to check the rest of the lot for that failure. 4500 parts ordered Sample size = 200 pieces On sample 200 we saw this! This FOD (Foreign Object Debris) would have caused catastrophic failure! Equipment damage and possibly injury! When setting up the sample plan there was a lot of push back on sampling that many. Questions like: Cant we check 10nd call it good? paired with statements like: "The machine will make them all the same once one is good" made for a hard sell! The parts were $20.00 ish each and inspecting 200 took almost 3 hours 3 hours at fully burdened shop rate = about $450.00 (10% of the job) Failure in the system could have been in the millions! How are your sampling plans?
