#rme_audio Room EQ, Crossfeed, Triple SPDIF - UFX+, UFX II, UFX III, UCX II A firmware update provides these RME interfaces with an optimized handling of the existing 3-band PEQ in TotalMix FX. Under the hood a 9-band PEQ is built from three 3-band PEQs, usable on any output channel. Obviously DSP power is limited, so any activated Room EQ reduces the available total number of 3-band PEQs by that amount. My latest mix. I've begun using multiband compression, which is helpful for taming unwanted frequencies, or boosting wanted ones. I'm working with Neural DSP amp emulators for the guitar signals, I'm using Darkglass and a series of saturation plugins for the bass guitar. The drums are programmed using Invasion from Getgood Drums. I don't consider this mix final, and it hasn't been mastered, but it's close enough to share. This is about two week's worth of work, roughly 3-4 hours a day on average. https://lnkd.in/ekgv_sjf
