Lead PR Manager at Usetech │ Media Relations │ PR for B2B

How can a PR professional use Qwoted? 🤗 You've probably heard of Qwoted, a platform that helps journalists find experts for publications. It is similar in functionality to HARO (now called Connectively). I'll be honest, Qwoted is my favorite journalist outreach tool, and I want to tell you more about how you can use it and the benefits you'll get. 📝 Qwoted offers not only the ability to submit comments on behalf of an expert, but also opportunities in the form of podcasts and events. They even have their own calendar of events. 📝 The platform has a handy tab — Media Moves — where you can find out about all the changes in the journalism field. This is very useful and relevant for a PR professional. 📝 If you use the paid version of Qwoted, you can see how many pitches have already been sent to a journalist. This helps you understand if your response will be relevant and timely. 📝 If you run your own blog, write articles or do research, you can create a second profile to post requests to find experts/speakers, etc. I've been using Qwoted for a long time to find experts for my Usetech blog, and I've met a lot of talented people thanks to this platform. 📝 There are really a lot of media requests. There are Tier-1 media and there are small local blogs. There are also a lot of topics, from the broadest to the narrowest. 📝 You can find out if the journalist has read your pitch. Agreed, this is very important for a PR professional! After all, when we send a pitch by email, we don't always (well, never) know if the journalist has opened it. Unless you use Email Tracker. 📝 To learn more about the expert you are representing, you can add photos, quotes, articles, and a bio to their profile. This is also very convenient and allows the journalist to get to know the candidate more quickly. What tools do you use to work with journalists? I'm on Qwoted too, and it's been a game-changer! The journalists' requests always get me thinking, and landing a feature in a top outlet is such a buzz. Your post actually clued me in on some features I didn't know about before 😅 Thanks for sharing, Julia Voloshchenko
