As part of the GOCAPS medical strand, we get a lot of great opportunities. For example, us as a class got to listen and learn about QPR from Monica Muller(question, persuade, refer )while also getting certified. Learning how to ask the proper questions properly. The possible warning signs one might have and how to approach them about those signs. Also, behavioral cues people may have.

Ended the week with the first mentoring session with supervisors from Neema Hospital. It was great to receive feedback about the new perspective in managing a unit after our class one week ago. Feedback from week one: 1. Clinical staff though the supervisor are managing patient experience and solving issues on the spot. 2. Visiting doctors are being engaged more to understand their needs as well as inform them of facility services. Pharmacy is already seeing a positive result in their sales. 3. The team is Intentionally scheduling time for self-care as well as daily morning huddled to check in on each other. Simply means better humans are at work. I can't wait to see the transformation in the next 7 weeks. My week was amazing, let the weekend begin. Time to ; ✔️Rest ✔️Reflect ✔️Reset.
