Can you do Physical Therapy from the comfort of your own home? The answer is yes! Exercise is one of the most common forms of treatment your Physical Therapist will recommend, and it will be important that you keep up a consistent routine. Before starting anything on your own, make sure to see a professional first to ensure that you don’t hurt yourself further. That said, here are a couple moves that you might see in your physio routine for back and neck pain: -Lie on your back with both of your legs straight. Bring your left knee up to your chest. Hold for 10 seconds, then return your leg to the straight position. Repeat with the other leg. -Keep your gaze focused on one object directly in front of you. Slowly move your head back. Now you will be looking at the roof. Keep your whole body still, and hold this position for 5 seconds. Then, slowly return your head to the start position. The journey to recovery is not an easy one, but a good physiotherapist will help you to navigate the difficult terrain, and get you back to normal in the most efficient way possible. We’d love to be your guide, so feel free to give us a call or shoot us a message 😀 https://lnkd.in/er8eaPz3 #HolisticPelvicCare #PelvicHealthPioneers #PathToWellnessWithNeal #WomenWellnessWarriors #EmpowerWithDrNeal #PelvicHealthMatters #WellnessAdvocateNeal #WomenSupportingWomenHealth

When you break a bone, physical therapy helps you heal and regain strength. Here's a simple guide: Rest and Protect: Doctors use a cast or brace to keep the bone still. Rest is crucial. Gentle Movements: Once healing starts, a physical therapist helps you move the injured part safely to prevent stiffness. Stretching and Strengthening: As you heal more, exercises stretch and strengthen muscles around the bone. Balance and Coordination: Therapists work on balance to prevent falls and further injury. Everyday Activities: The goal is to return to normal activities like walking and sports safely. Follow your therapist’s instructions carefully for a smooth recovery. They’ll adjust exercises as you improve and help you avoid future injuries. Physical therapy is essential for proper healing and getting back to your routine. ☎️ Call/WhatsApp: 83338 90389 🌐 www.drakhils.com #Physiotherapy #PhysicalTherapy #Rehabilitation #MovementMatters #PainRelief #Mobility #InjuryRecovery #SportsRehab #FunctionalMovement #WellnessJourney

Here are some tools that physical therapists use to measure your progress. #PhysicalTherapyProgress #PTJourney #StayStrong 💪 1️⃣ Goniometer: This tool measures the range of motion in your joints, allowing your therapist to see improvements in flexibility and movement. 2️⃣ Dynamometer: This device measures grip strength, which can increase with targeted exercises and show improvement in hand and arm function. Remember, each person's progress is unique and these tools are just some examples of how your therapist may track your journey.
