Logical approach towards problem solving How do you break a problem into smaller chunks and come to a solution! 3. Curiosity and an ability to learn new things Be constantly curios! 4 Positive Attitude to deal with ambiguity In the data world, you'll be dealing with ambiguity, what is expected out of you is find a way out! Now comes the interesting part, in order to get a call from these companies you need to have a strong resume, showcase a variety of projects that showcases your strength in : 1. Dashboarding/Story Telling --> Showcases your visualization and story telling skills 2. Pricing Framework / Cohort Analysis / Marketing Analytics (Dealing with Dormancy/Identifying Optimal Chanel for running marketing campaigns) etc. 3. Basic ML project dealing with Regression/Classification problem (this part can be optional) 4. Automating redundant work via python/R (plus points) Don't complicate ! But that’s very short term thinking, which can lead to a massive shortage of talent in the coming years. Companies - balance your roles and hire more early-career people.
