Let's talk about some common misconceptions around apprenticeships - “𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀.” 👀 Actually, apprenticeships are for everyone, no matter your age or career stage. (I'm living proof at 25!) “𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀.” 🎓 The hands-on experience and industry recognised qualifications I’ve gained are invaluable. I've got a university degree, but I'd say I got more out of my apprenticeship. “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀.” 🔧 Not true! Apprenticeships cover all sorts of fields, including digital marketing, tech, and finance. "𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁" 😕 I received a huge amount support and guidance, both from my employer and from the apprenticeship organisation. Without this, I wouldn't be where I am. So, if you’ve been thinking about an apprenticeship, or maybe you're a business owner who's thinking about hiring an apprentice - ignore the myths and go for it!
