During the early days of SpaceX, Elon Musk interviewed the first 𝟯𝟬𝟬𝟬 employees personally. He went all in on finding the right talent. When hiring 5 of the top 10 from a class at Michigan, when speaking to their professor he simply asked "who are the other 5?" If there was a fee attached, I don't think he'd have knocked it back do you? Or said he'd take them but it would have to be a flat fee of £400. If there's a one area you can invest your time and resource, it's talent development and talent attraction. As it's really all that matters.
