This week marked the midpoint of our first five years. As I was taking this photo I was thinking about the amazing achievements of this group of outstanding scientists in such a short time! Over 60 PIs spread across the whole country (one is actually abroad!) in more than 20 prestigious institutions working on #preclinical #mousemodels to accelerate the pace of discovery of both #diagnosis and #therapy in important #disease areas such as #cancer, #CongenitalAnomalies, #microbiome, #haematopoiesis, #NeurologicalDisorders, #MitochondrialDiseases #ageing, also developing new technologies to modulate #protein levels in vivo and generate complex #alleles using the most up-to-date #GenomeEditing methods. The University of Montana Western Rodeo Team hosted its 54th Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet last month. The rodeo banquet is the primary fundraising event for student scholarships, facilitating essential practice opportunities, offsetting travel expenses, covering hotel accommodations, and supporting the Montana Western College rodeo in the fall. This year at the event, UMW Rodeo paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Benny and Rooster Reynolds, two of Dillon's most iconic rodeo heroes.
