🌟 This Giving Tuesday, YOU have the power to change lives! 🌟 Every day, 1 in 5 children in Texas faces hunger—a reality no child should endure. Thanks to your support, Junior League of The Woodlands is making a difference. Through our H.A.P.P.Y. (Healthy Appetites Promote Positive Youth) program, we’ve delivered over 19,000 meal bags to children in need this year, doubling our impact and reaching 42 schools! 💛 A counselor shared how a little boy in our program couldn’t stop smiling when he opened his H.A.P.P.Y. bag, saying, “Now my sister and I don’t have to skip dinner.” 💛 A principal told us students are more focused and confident in the classroom because of H.A.P.P.Y. This Giving Tuesday, help us celebrate 35 years of service with a bold goal: $35,000 to expand our reach and support children on our waitlist. 👉 How to help: 🎁 Donate $35 to provide a month’s worth of meals to a child. 🎁 Become a recurring donor to sustain our efforts year-round. 🎁 Share your support with #GivingTuesday to inspire others! Click here to give today: https://ow.ly/qQgt50UjZMy Together, we can create a community where no child goes hungry. 📚 Education is a right – not a privilege. In times of crisis, girls are 2.5 times more likely to be out of school. Even when schools reopen, many face considerable barriers that limit their ability to learn, grow, and thrive. Crisis situations can have severe consequences for girls, which can affect them for their entire lives. But together, we can change that. 💛 Play-based learning helps girls catch up on lost education, ignite a love for learning, and build meaningful connections with their peers. This is your chance to #PlayYourPart. Let’s ensure every girl has the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a brighter future. 🌟 Donate now - https://ow.ly/41oU50Ug25U #RightToPlay #SupportChildren #MakeADifference #DonateNow #PlayYourPart #Protect #Educate #Empower #Children #Crises #Displacement

UPDATE: Empathy High School Opening Delayed I'm writing this update with a mix of emotions - disappointment, gratitude, and hope. We received feedback from the District Authorities regarding our request for a temporary license to open Empathy High School on 3rd. February. Unfortunately, they rejected our request due to the incomplete construction of essential facilities, including toilets, washrooms, and the classroom block. While this delay is tough, it's also a reminder of why we're doing this. We're not just building a school - we're building a community, a safe space for vulnerable children to grow and thrive. So, what's next? We've set a new target opening date of May 20th, and we're committed to completing the remaining work as soon as possible. But we can't do it alone. That's where you come in. We're calling on our amazing community to help us bridge the funding gap. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to opening our doors and changing lives of vulnerable children who can’t access high school education. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/d8yg9Arr This project is in conjunction with Dear Future International, and the Alliance for Unitive Justice #EmpathyHighSchool #EducationForAll #SupportVulnerableChildren #DonateNow #MakeADifference #EmpoweringCommunities #QualityEducationMatters @highlight

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity creates real change. Here’s how: 1. Fighting Hunger: Your support provides access to healthy, affordable food for residents in need. With food pantries seeing a 30% increase in demand, your giving ensures no one goes hungry. 2. Empowering Young Readers: Your contribution helps 3rd-grade students achieve reading proficiency. In some districts, only 14% of 3rd graders are reading at grade level, but your giving is helping to close that gap. 3. Building Financial Independence: Your gift empowers residents to break free from poverty. With 13.5% of our community living below the poverty line—higher than the national average of 12.5%—your support is making a lasting impact on families striving for a better future. The work is far from over in 2025, and we need you now more than ever. Whether you make a one-time gift or become a Community Champion with a monthly donation, your support truly makes a difference. Let's build a stronger, more hopeful Passaic County future—together. Falcon Social and Educational Society’s Food Drive At Falcon Social and Educational Society (FSES), we believe that every child deserves a meal. During our recent food drive, we had the privilege to serve nutritious meals to underprivileged children—bringing hope, smiles, and full bellies to those in need. 🍽️ "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." This initiative is just one of the ways FSES is committed to empowering communities through education, healthcare, and social development. We aim to not only alleviate hunger but also foster an environment where these children can thrive and pursue their dreams. Our food drives are more than just providing meals. They represent compassion in action and reflect our larger mission: to build a world where everyone has access to basic needs, education, and a chance at a better life. You Can Help! We invite you to join hands with us in this journey of making a difference: Donate to support future drives Volunteer your time and effort at our upcoming events Share our cause to spread awareness Together, we can create lasting change in the lives of these children. Our Goshen office has teamed up with the Salvation Army and we have an Angel Tree in our waiting room! 🎄 🎁 Visit us today to donate! We are always so proud to be a part of our community and give back to those who support us, every day. The Salvation Army Angel Tree is a program designed to provide Christmas gifts to children and families in need. The initiative allows individuals and organizations to participate by adopting an "angel" (a child) and purchasing gifts based on their wishes and needs. How Does An Angel Tree Work? Typically, a community partner or local organization will set up an Angel Tree, where tags representing children are displayed with their ages, genders, and gift suggestions. Donors can then take a tag, purchase the gifts, and return them to the designated location for distribution. The program helps ensure that children and families experience the joy of the holiday season, even if they are facing financial hardships. It's a way for communities to come together and support one another during the holidays. #salvationarm #angeltree #community #support #giveback #local #smallbusiness #localbusiness #supportlocal #christmas #supportsmallbusiness #GiveBack #communitysupport #doingthemostgood #AdoptanAngel #HolidayHope #SeasonOfGiving #HolidayCheer
