Thank you to Intermountain Health for hosting Juniper’s Fall retreat at their Salt Lake City headquarters. Our team was fortunate to learn from Dan Liljenquist, Allison P. Corry, and Jim Ogilvie. The presentations and tours of Intermountain’s Supply Chain Center illustrate how operational scale can drive clinical excellence and financial outcomes. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the Deerfield Management CEO Conference, where healthcare leaders from across the industry gathered—whether from Deerfield-backed companies, commercial partners, customers, or friends of the firm. It was inspiring to see such a collective drive toward meaningful change in healthcare. The event sparked reflections on the progress we’re making across the industry. Are all these innovative companies, each working to transform healthcare in unique ways, truly making a difference? To me, healthcare transformation feels like steering a massive ship. The journey is deliberate and requires steady, coordinated adjustments to stay on course. Progress is real but gradual, with each part of the industry adapting at its own pace. While it’s a slow-moving ship, I sense we’re gaining momentum, perhaps even faster than many expected. I’m optimistic about where we’re headed. Are you? #valuebasedcare #transformation #healthcare #progress #stepbystep

Just a Few Weeks into 2025, and already grateful for inspiring partnerships! We had the privilege of hosting Richard Corder FACHE, Senior VP of Consulting Services, and Liz Landers-Nussmeier, MS, Area Vice President, from Press Ganey. Although their visit was brief, it was packed with impactful conversations and data-driven insights that shed light on opportunities to strengthen our High Reliability Organization (HRO) practices and integrate them more deeply with our human experience efforts. In times like these, when healthcare faces unprecedented challenges, having trusted partners who share our vision gives me hope. Their insights and expertise serve as powerful reminders that we are on the right path. Through collaboration and shared learning, we’re fostering a virtuous cycle where safety builds trust, trust drives engagement, and engagement leads to excellence. Our incredible executive teams Samaritan Health Services, including Dr. Margaret Mikula, are true leaders in this journey, setting the standard and demonstrating that when we fully commit to this work, there is room for everyone to contribute and thrive. Each of us matters, and every contribution helps make healthcare equitable, exceptional, safer, and more reliable for every patient, every time. And while the photo from their visit might not be picture-perfect, the team behind it certainly is! Passionate people doing exceptional work—it’s hard to ask for more. With the guidance of trusted partners and the dedication of our teams, I’m confident we’ll continue turning challenges into opportunities and making meaningful strides toward a safer, brighter future for healthcare. #Samhealth #HighReliability #ZeroHarm #PressGaney #Collaboration #HumanExperience

Incredibly proud of our team and the innovation we’ve brought to Senior Living! This is the first time I’ve seen a partner truly understand our world—what we do in Senior Living—and offer not just a solution, but the foundational solution. Sage is not an add-on. It’s a platform designed for the future of Senior Living. Unlike anything else out there, it leverages mission-critical systems to deliver data we’ve never had access to before. And let’s be clear: Sage is NOT an EHR. Speaking from my background as a caregiver and nurse, I can confidently say EHRs were never built for Assisted Living. Sure, people have tried to adapt, but the truth is they missed a key piece—care operations and the data behind it. We’re the first to recognize what’s truly missing. If you’re serious about transforming your business, I urge you—don’t get caught up in the checklist of features you think you need. Instead, take a hard look at your operations. What are you missing? Sage has the answer.
Yesterday, Sage and Sonida Senior Living won Gold in two categories at the 14th Annual McKnight's Long-Term Care News Tech Awards ceremony! It's such an honor for our team's gamechanging work to be recognized by the senior living world! We took top honors in the "Innovative Care Planning" and "Emerging Technology" categories — as McKnights put it: "Sage’s next-generation operations management system takes a transformational approach to incident response, care tracking, and data collection, and is integrated into a single, modern interface." 🥇 #innovation #healthtech #careplanning #seniorliving #gold
