A podcast is a content marketer's dream. But only if it's planned, created, and used correctly. Your show should... 1. Amplify your brand awareness. 2. Make your audience want to tune in. 3. Fuel social and email distribution. And once you have a consistent quality show, you can use it forever. *** Get my free 5-day distribution crash course: https://bit.ly/3Wzefzu
So many people overlook the distro strategy Great stuff
Too fast. Podcasts have been part of marketing already.
Yes to everything here! so many brands want podcasts and then after a few episodes they realize it's a lot of work and hard to keep alive.. focusing first on a pilot season is definitely a good way to go and ideally you start a podcast only once you have a good distribution channel in place and can make sure you're going to get the eyeballs that make the effort worth it.
Begin with the end in mind!
Love the pilot approach. Starting a new project that could go on forever seems so daunting.
Great tips Justin Simon! Thanks for sharing!
Great advice!

4moCurious how you'd think about judging the results of that pilot season idea Justin Simon. What makes it viable? Think maybe I'd share the handful of episodes with close customers or folks in the target audience, get qualitative feedback. Wondering what others would do
