Giving Candidates a Second Chance! Looking back on my time in recruitment, I've learned that people change as they get older and gain more experience. Recently, I had a situation where a candidate had caused some issues a few years back. Now, they're back in the job market with more real world know how. It got me thinking about the importance of giving candidates another shot 💭 We've all messed up when we were starting out in our careers. Over time, we learn and grow, and it's essential to recognise that. Even though past experiences might make us sceptical, I believe in giving most people a second chance. As young professionals, we may not always understand the impact of our actions, but with time, we learn valuable lessons. By offering opportunities for growth and improvement, we contribute to a culture that values personal development. So, did I consider giving this candidate another try? I sure did 😊🙌🏼 People change, learn, and adapt. By giving them another chance, we acknowledge the power of experience and create a culture of understanding and support.
