Perhaps you, like many, got excited when the CIPD shared an AI policy recently, to then discover that it ONLY refers to ChatGPT. Well, mi amigos, I've gone and written one. You can use it for your agency if you like! And guess what, I'm not going to make you fill in a form, or give me your email address so I can try and get business off you (although, that would be smart, and I DO want your business). Anyway here it is! AI transparency: I asked ChatGPT to list the various elements that should be included in a policy like this. I wrote the lad, then asked the same GPT for feedback a few times. THEN, I uploaded the raw text to Gamma.app to make it look nice (I uploaded my brand guidelines beforehand). Here's some of the methods I have been using AI: 1️⃣ Financial Reports: Easily export any QuickBooks report to Excel and paste the data into ChatGPT. Prompt ChatGPT to analyze the data. Prepare to be amazed by the insights it uncovers! 2️⃣ Excel Formulas: Excel formulas can be very confusing. Simple prompts to ChatGPT can give you the formulas you are looking for. This isn't always 100% accurate, but it will always set the basic format that you can tweak. 3️⃣ LinkedIn: ChatGPT does not write my posts. Despite Generative AI being available for the past two years, he hadn't tried anything yet, not even ChatGPT. You should have seen his face – like a kid discovering chocolate for the first time. Watching someone experience AI tools for the first time is priceless! As the gears started turning in his head, he came to some rather dramatic conclusions: "I'm going to completely re-arrange all our business processes! 🔄" "We can trim down most of the staff, especially in administrative and analytical roles. Worried that using AI for #recruiting and #HR will create biased content? If you aren't, you should be. Because it definitely does. But that also doesn't mean you shouldn't use AI; you just need to be careful and intentional about it. Katrina Kibben believes that it’s the responsibility of the person that owns the job posting (or whatever you’re writing for recruiting and HR) to understand what bias exists, and your role in ethical automation of that content. #promoting #ai #education If your team isn't using AI chatbots in finance this is a good start with any of the foundation leading chatbots like: Claude.ai ChatGPT4o MSFT Co pilot Cohere R Mistral Google Gemini Meta Llama3 If you're doing evaluation or rework on existing spreadsheets or PowerPoint slides those are your inputs to these tools... There's more of these tools than creating poetry or hallucinations. One of the things you could do to learn these new tools is to complete a sample HBR Finance case study assignment, that you did in school and replicate the work in responding to the case. This time use AI tools to help complete the analysis and the assignment. Learn by doing. The first step in the assignment is that you can read in the complete case and materials into these AI tools if you choose one with a large context window. If you don't understand what this means you should not be using artificial intelligence Tools in business today, until you have more information and education under your belt about it. This is pretty much what every MBA class in the world is doing now starting in the fall. you can start today. There is no problem with security in doing this kind of education... it's what education is meant for. If you happen to be fortunate enough to be entering an MBA program this year, the level of projects you can entertain in the amount of learning that will be available to you will be the most ever in history with these new tools. I've instructed at the college level and I'm looking forward to doing continuous case method in training and educating learners, with these new AI powered tools and methods. I hear the sound of angels when I can easily construct a correct three sheet model and ratios I want based on any case that I'm studying. Doing these by hand is just a grind and not very valuable but essential to learn. Security note: manage security accordingly by using the Enterprise AI tools that your company has bought for you, otherwise read the terms of services carefully for the tools that you're using.
