Fun fact: this is how we got our name!

I sometimes get asked: "where does the name JUX come from?" The answer isn't particularly exciting - just quite nerdy. 🤓 I wanted the name to be a one-word, quirky and memorable name: something I think Wild, TRIP and Lick have achieved very well. When developing the concept of JUX, I found an intriguing piece of McKinsey & Company research that found the modern consumer was juxtaposed: they wanted the immediacy and convenience of 'fast food', as well as the sustainability and health benefits of 'slow food'. This is the exact solution that JUX Food provides consumers. I can also see this juxtaposition reflected within the business. One of our points of difference - our dehydration technology - is technical and complicated. Yet it creates a completely pure, 100% natural product. As I said - not a particularly exciting answer. But I think 'JUX' perfectly captures what we're all about! #startup #consumer #entrepreneurship
