"Sales of vegetable soar 70% at Waitrose & Partners with people taking to TikTok to claim it 'clears your skin' and describe themselves as 'garlic girlies'." According to the article, Waitrose & Partners, the only British supermarket to sell frozen wild garlic, "has seen soaring demand with sales up by 70 per cent in the past 30 days". Waitrose were the main beneficiaries of this trend-spike. They offer a fantastic range of quality and ready-to-eat ingredients options for consumers. This has sent #GenZ in droves as they seek to follow the latest food trend. And Garlic isn't the only ingredient that Gen-Z has taken an interest in, causing a surge in sales.
