Everyone knows branding is important. But there are more elements to brand than you might realize. Here are the 6 elements of branding you need to nail down for maximum resonance: 1/ Brand Name Your company’s name is at the forefront of your brand. It’s the first point of contact for prospects & guides the direction of subsequent branding elements. First impressions matter. Make sure you nail it with an excellent name. 2/ Logo Your logo serves as the main point of recognition for your brand. Ensure its design is simple while reflecting the message you’re trying to express. Human beings are visual creatures. This step shouldn’t be ignored. 3/ Colors & Typography Colors & typography will be the most reused element across your brand’s touchpoints. This means you’ll be able to strike a feeling of familiarity quickly with your audience. It’s also an excellent opportunity for differentiation from competing brands. 4/ Brand Voice Brand voice refers to your brand’s personality & emotion during communication. This involves tonality & persona to further help us differentiate from the competition. Tone examples are friendly, serious, playful, or anything else that aligns with brand vision. 5/ Tagline This will be the memorable yet concise statement that encapsulates your brand's promise. Think of it as the 8-second elevator pitch that explains your brand's overall message. Plus it’s catchy and won’t be forgotten by your audience. 6/ Brand Story The brand’s story is perhaps the most sophisticated element of them all. It’s the foundation of your brand & the message it aims to communicate. It conveys your brand's values, mission, and the reason behind its existence. When done together, these elements propel your brand to the next level. When done incorrectly, a weak brand has a ripple effect across your entire business. Take each of these elements into account when building your brand — your bottom line will thank you. #linkedin #brand #audience #business
