Movember Reigns #3 "Let’s talk about some important stats on men’s health. Did you know that prostate cancer will affect about 1 in 8 men in their lifetime? Early detection through screenings can make all the difference. Then there’s testicular cancer, which is the most common cancer in young men, especially those between 15 and 35. Awareness and self-checks are key to catching it early. And here’s a big one: men, on average, die five years earlier than women. Lifestyle factors, risky behaviors, and often hesitating to seek help contribute to this gap. That’s why Movember is here—to raise awareness and encourage action for a longer, healthier life for men everywhere." #In-Cre-Mental #Movember #CancerPrevention #LiveLonger #EarlyScreening #MensHealthMatters

As we kick off Men's Health week, it's a timely reminder that 212 men are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in Australia. When was the last time you checked your breasts? Follow these simple steps. 👀Look – at the shape and appearance of your breasts and nipples in the mirror with your hands by your sides. Raise your arms above your head and have another look. 🖐️Feel – all of your breast and nipples, looking for anything that it's normal for you. Start from your collarbone to the bottom of your sternum or chest bone and under your armpit. 🔎Learn – what is normal for you! Breasts come in all different shapes and sizes, so get to know your normal. If you do see any changes, see your doctor or health professional. #MensHealthWeek #McGrathFoundation #BreastCareNurses
