Why is Gold Precious? During ‘Navratras’ in India, the age-old tradition of buying and gifting gold resurfaces, symbolizing not just luxury but security and confidence, especially for brides as they embark on a new journey. But have we ever stopped to ask ourselves: Why is gold so precious? Gold’s value lies in its ability to remain untarnished and effortlessly radiant, unlike other metals, making it timeless and universally cherished. Gold's allure comes from its non-reactive nature, effortlessly retaining its brilliance over time, making it both timeless and highly sought after. Becoming the "gold" in one’s life means mastering the art of staying calm under pressure and shining through any circumstance. Just as gold is strengthened with other metals, we can build resilience by combining humility, empathy and emotional awareness. Gold teaches that by staying non-reactive, we can cultivate emotional resilience. When we control our reactions in challenging situations, we embody the enduring strength of gold, allowing us to shine and be more buoyant both in personal and professional situations. At Kalpvriksh Guru, we believe that emotional intelligence is key to personal growth and leadership. Individuals who possess the ability to stay non-reactive, maintain their composure and rise above conflicts are often the ones who are valued most in families and organizations. They are trusted with greater responsibilities and have a natural ability to lead others with ease. As you celebrate the festivals ahead, take a moment to reflect on your inner strength. How can you grow your ability to build resilience? At Kalpvriksh Guru, we’re here to help you on the transformative journey. Let’s shine, together. #EmotionalResilience #Leadership #KalpvrikshGuru #FestivalOfGold #PersonalGrowth #thoughtleadership #emotionalintelligence Major Gaurav Arya (Retd) Richa Anirudh Ranveer Allahbadia Akshat Gupta The Better India Shantanu Naidu Kiran Bedi

OLD SHIPS WILL PASS ON TO MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW SHIPS! Our mere existence is proof of the innate nature of the transience of the living world. Those who exist, exist only to eventually exit, creating space for the new lot. If exit is the human goalpost, then the question is not who won, but how one played. KUMBH MELA- The Biggest Spiritual Event is on the cards for 2025. The first mention of Kumbh is in the Bhagavata Purana, 2,000 years ago. 1903: 4 lakh attendees. 1954: 50 lakh pilgrims gathered in Allahabad. 1989: 1.5 crore people participated. 2013: Maha Kumbh in Allahabad attracted 12 crore pilgrims, holding the Guinness World Record for the largest human gathering on a single day. 2019: Over 24 crore people attended the Prayagraj Kumbh over 48 days, generating a massive economic impact of over ₹1.2 lakh crore, contributing to tourism, transportation, and trade. 2025: Over 40 crore people are expected to attend and take the holy bath. WHY? A shortcut to fast-track liberation from the recurrence of Entry and Exit. As I sit, Thinking about the fleeting life, Witnessing the setting sun of 2024, I still wonder & deeply ponder- is it about entry, exit, or how one played? Can you guess the place I'm in? #GOODBYE2024 You were Kind, You were Brave, You were Brilliant!!!

Amidst the 9 days.. “Eh Haallooo” is how we say in Gujarati! What is the Navratri Festival? "Navratri" derives from two Sanskrit words: "Nava," meaning nine, and "Ratri," meaning night. In the simplest terms, Navratri translates to nine nights. The festival stands out for its devotion to the divine feminine. The story of Navratri traces back to an epic battle between good and evil. The indomitable demon Mahishasura wreaked havoc on Trilok - Earth, hell, and heaven. In response to the cry for help from the gods, the holy trinity – Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva – pooled their divine energies to create Goddess Durga, a symbol of supreme power. Armed with 10 weapons (Trishul, Sudarshan Chakra, Sword, Vajra, Spear, Snake, Lotus, bow and arrow, mace and conch) and spirits as powerful as a lion, she battled against Mahishasura for 15 days. The demon changed his form several times throughout the fight to confuse and disorient the goddess. But his tricks didn’t work. As soon as he took the form of a buffalo, Maa Durga's trident found its mark, ending his reign of terror. This momento in the frame is our contribution and love towards the culture of India, wherein RBV co-sponsored a ‘Dandiya’ (the Navratri dance) event in Mumbai. At RBV and JBB, as an Indian MNC, we believe that contributing towards the society is a must and we all should do in whatever form we can, wherever we belong and take pride in carrying the flag and community in our spirits. The word “Dussehra” is derived from the Sanskrit words “Dasha” (meaning ten) and “Hara” (meaning defeat), referring to the victory of Lord Rama over the ten-headed demon king, Ravana. The festival also marks the day when Goddess Durga defeated Mahishasura after a fierce battle that lasted nine days, symbolising the ultimate triumph of good over evil. Dussehra is more than just a celebration of ancient mythological tales; it is a reminder of the timeless values of courage, righteousness, and devotion that continue to resonate with people today. 10 Evils investors must defeat to build long-term wealth 1. Procrastination: Delaying investment decisions. 2. Lack of Goals: Investing without a clear purpose. 3. Lack of Discipline: Inconsistent investment habits. 4. Greed: Chasing high returns without proper analysis. 5. Over-Diversification: Spreading too thin without strategy. 6. Excessive Debt: Failing to balance debt and investments. 7. Impulse Reactions: Buying or selling based on market noise. 8. Underestimating Inflation: Ignoring the impact of rising costs. 9. Neglecting Compounding: Not staying invested long enough. 10. Loss Aversion: Exiting investments too early during downturns. Defeat these hurdles, and you’ll be on your way to long-term wealth creation! Happy Dussehra! #Dussehra

Celebrating the Spirit of Change and Resilience: A Personal Reflection Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending a grand cultural event organized by the vibrant #Bodo community in Delhi. It was more than just a festival—it was a profound moment in history. For the first time in over five decades, young Bodos came together to celebrate their rich cultural heritage, leaving behind a painful legacy of violence and conflict. This transformation, driven by the Bodo peace agreement, is a powerful testament to the resilience and determination of the human spirit. Walking through the exhibition, I was reminded of another chapter in our journey—the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. It was a time when our collective sense of safety was shattered by terrorism. Today, the tide has turned. India has not only strengthened its own security but has become a nation where even perpetrators of terror find no sanctuary. These experiences, juxtaposed with Hindustan Times celebrating its 100 years, reflect the indomitable spirit of Bharat. From surviving colonial rule to achieving independence, from resisting the Emergency to navigating the challenges of the pandemic, the common Indian has always risen above adversities. Every milestone—whether it’s the cultural resurgence of the Bodo community or the global admiration for India’s resilience during COVID—tells a story of unity, strength, and hope. As we celebrate these transformations, let us remember: the real force shaping India’s destiny is its people—their wisdom, resilience, and unwavering spirit….
