Unveiling the surprising secret to our artistry: precise choreography! 💫 As artists, our gestures need to be both free and meticulously planned. We approach the creative process the way dancers approach performing. Each gesture is rehearsed and choreographed, our technique is corrected and perfected. Rhythm guides our hands which are tasked to express our deepest emotions and creativity. But creativity needs to be sharpened: our Research & Development team recently held a workshop on freedom and gesture. Together, we experimented with new techniques and hand placements, thus creating new ways to interpret the world around us and express our emotions. #ateliersberger #creativeprocess #newtechniques #craftsmanship

We love a rehearsal. Pre-shoot days give us time to nail down choreography & blocking, tape out flooring markings, find ways to identify sight lines... and sometimes we even get to use our LED walls to location scout environments & immerse our performers in whatever world we need to explore. We more than double the effectiveness of a single shoot day by incorporating a rehearsal into the mix and getting all of the above done before we need everyone on set. It’s obvious right? In mocap, these floor tape markings represent the intersection of preparation, practice, and execution. To me they represent setting goals, diligently working towards them, and consistently delivering your best performance. Prepare, adapt to the unexpected and be consistent.
