Your dosing module may waste product. This is caused by variations in water pressure in the drinking lines. They are common, but often go unseen. These variations in line pressure can usually be traced back to design errors in the drinking water system or the animals' daily drinking pattern. This leads to regular dosing modules deviating significantly in their dosing. If you look at a longer period of time, the amount of product you are dosing can vary by up to 25% from the planned dosage❗ However, the Optimus dosing module has a constant release of liquid, regardless of the water pressure 💧 This helps you to save up to 25% on your additions to drinking water!💸 And that's only one of its sustainable features. Good morning sludge truck! Yet another sludge article this morning. Resource recovery aside, treating industrial "meatpacking" wastewater with rare earth coagulants instead of traditional alum or ferric produces less than half the volume of sludge in a far less toxic form if you do NOTHING else. As we get further into this issue, it really begs the question why chemical service providers, who have access to this technology haven't utilized it to avoid these capacity issues. I have my theories but regardless I think it's an important question law makers will be getting to the bottom of as time goes on. https://lnkd.in/gzQ3Dnn3 #missouri #sludgedewatering #sludge #wastewatermanagement

1. Sewer Leaks Equal Tree Food- A sewage line carries organic matter and water, two materials tree roots consider food. 2. Prevention- Look out for the grass to look a little lusher than the rest of your yard, and look for wet spots when the rest of the yard is dry. 3. Simple Solutions- Sometimes, when a clog is bad, the line has to be dug up, and opened, and the roots and tree removed. #drain #drainage #septic #tankcleaning #draining #sewage #septic #septictank #cleaning

Don't forget about fall clean-up for your synthetic turf! The leaves are dropping and so are the temperatures, making it a great time to get outside and take care of your turf or putting green before the chill sets in. This blog post outlines some helpful tips for maintaining your synthetic grass! Check it out for more information on stain removal, pet waste, and sticky messes. For lighter maintenance, here is a simple 4-step routine you can implement today: - Step 1: Eliminate any debris from the surface frequently, particularly after high winds or storms. - Step 2: Wash regularly with a hose. Cold, clean water will help wash away any dust or pollen. This step can frequently be avoided if you live in an area with plenty of rain. - Step 3: Brush the grass against the grain or pile direction to perk it back up. Cross-brushing opposing the grain will also block the fibers from matting. - Step 4: Let dry for at least 30 minutes before continuing with normal activities. https://lnkd.in/gE_rYbiQ

Farmers often make several common mistakes when using mulch sheets, including: ▪︎Improper Installation: Not securing the sheets properly, leading to wind dislodgement. ▪︎Incorrect Overlapping: Failing to overlap sheets adequately, allowing weeds to grow through gaps. ▪︎Poor Soil Preparation: Not removing existing weeds or debris, reducing effectiveness. ▪︎Wrong Material Choice: Selecting non-biodegradable sheets for long-term crops, leading to disposal issues. ▪︎Inadequate Watering: Over or under-watering due to misunderstanding moisture retention properties. ▪︎Neglecting Maintenance: Ignoring tears or degradation, which can reduce the benefits and allow weeds to emerge. Avoiding these mistakes ensures optimal benefits from mulch sheets, enhancing soil health, moisture retention, and weed suppression.

Hydroseeding is not a DIY landscaping project - so choose your professional wisely. While you can take on most yard work, hydroseeding is not one of those projects. The slurry is challenging to mix when you lack the specialized equipment used by hydroseed services to ensure the proper blending of grass seed, mulch, water, fertilizer, binder, and soil amendments. Some jurisdictions even require licensure to apply some of the additives in the hydroseeding mixture. #hydroseedingcertified #hydroseedingcontractor #hydroseedingpro #hydroseedingspecialists #hydroseedingapplicator #hydroseedingcanada #hydroseeding #hydroseedingprofessional #hydroseedinglife #hydroseedingroadside #hydroseed #hydroseeders #hydromulch #hydromulching #landscaping #erosioncontrol #NewBrunswick #SprayItDontLayIt #erosioncontrolproducts #erosionprevention #stormwatersolutions #stormwaterrunoff #bioticearth #bioticsoil #bioticsoilamendment #landscapeconstruction #landscape_specialist #waterdelivery #bulkwater #NBRoadBuilders
