✨ Introducing Faith: A New Era of Wool Innovation for Women, By Women ✨ At Kari Traa, we’re excited to present Faith, our latest innovation in wool technology designed for women who seek both performance and comfort without compromising on style or sustainability. Faith features Female First Technology, a breakthrough that combines semi-seamless warp-knit construction for enhanced movement and support. The design offers ventilation in key areas—specifically the breast and mid-back—where we sweat the most, ensuring you stay cool and comfortable during high-intensity activities. With its 4-way stretch, Faith provides a second-skin feel that moves with you, offering unparalleled freedom and flexibility. Our mixed-blend base layers combine the best of both natural and synthetic fibers, providing the perfect balance of comfort, warmth, and moisture management. These layers dry quickly, wick moisture, and regulate body temperature, making them ideal for everything from backcountry skiing and trail running to sleeping under the stars. Faith is also a leader in sustainability. Using warp-knitted technology, we’ve eliminated the need for traditional pattern cutting and sewing, significantly reducing or even eliminating waste in the production process. This innovative approach results in durable, low-shrinkage fabrics with unfinished edges for added comfort, giving you a smooth, streamlined fit that feels natural against the skin. With minimal seams for better movement, bold prints with hidden technology, and a premium wool blend that delivers warmth, quick drying, and moisture-wicking capabilities, Faith is designed to perform in any environment while looking great. This is more than just a base layer—Faith is the next generation of outdoor apparel, Made for HER, By HER. Experience wool innovation that elevates both your performance and comfort, while being kinder to the planet. #Faith #WoolInnovation #FemaleFirstTechnology #KariTraa #SustainableFashion #HighPerformance #MinimalWaste #WomenInAdventure #NewLaunch

This weekend, I cleaned out my wardrobe and collected a significant amount of clothes I no longer need. Luckily, there’s a textile collection point near my house, so I took them there, hoping they will follow a reuse-recycle flow and not end up in a landfill. Currently, there is no concrete legislation covering textiles —from production (design) to consumer use, collection, and the end of life for items. Starting on January 1st of this year, EU member states are obligated to collect textiles from consumers, but the process beyond that remains unclear. This lack of clarity is a critical issue, especially as textile consumerism has changed so drastically and rapidly compared to previous decades. Many clothes today are designed for quick disposal to encourage constant purchases—fast fashion at its peak. Without proper regulation, this trend will continue to harm both the environment and consumers in the long run. #environment #responsability #textile #recycle #reuse

🚨 Why Denim Innovation Matters: Raw vs. Stretch 🚨 Denim isn’t just fabric—it’s a statement, a lifestyle, and a science. Whether you lean toward the authenticity of raw denim or the comfort and versatility of stretch denim, every choice tells a story. Raw denim embodies tradition: durable, stiff at first, and molding to its wearer over time, creating a unique, personalized fade. Stretch denim, on the other hand, represents modern innovation: a blend of comfort, flexibility, and style designed for today’s active lifestyles. As we move forward in denim manufacturing, balancing heritage craftsmanship with cutting-edge fabric technology becomes key. Which side are you on: classic durability or modern flexibility? Let’s talk denim—drop your thoughts in the comments! 👖👇 #DenimInnovation #RawDenim #StretchDenim #SustainabilityInStyle

Our approach to high-fashion denim is driven by our commitment to innovation. In our latest Fall / Winter 2025–2026 denim collection, we’re amplifying our unique woven technology with attention-grabbing, head-turning effects. The technology begins with circular, textile-to-textile fibres from RE&UP Recycling Technologies. These Next-Gen fibres are made from end-of-life textiles and perform the same as virgin materials. Our woven technology then transforms these high-quality fibres into high-performing fabrics — and the innovation doesn’t stop there. Our “Momentum” concept takes denim to the next level and includes two of our speciality categories. Denim Art intrigues the eye with subtle metallic stripes, coloured coatings, “crackle” finishes, and Jeather — the look of leather with the comfort of a favourite jean. Indigo Heart’s intricate construction details have a hand-crafted look and subtle patterning effects. Momentum is full of innovation you can see and feel. When did we go from "natural" to "unnatural" in fashion? Remember when cotton, wool, and silk were all we needed to make the world a little more stylish? Fast forward a few decades, and suddenly, polyester, nylon, and a cocktail of chemicals are what we’re made of. But how did this happen? Was it an unintended drift away from nature, or a calculated move toward convenience, cost, and durability? In the world of apparel materials, we’ve replaced nature’s gifts with synthetic shortcuts. Sure, synthetics may be easier to care for, but at what cost? We’ve gotten used to fabrics that resist wrinkles, don’t shrink, and never fade, but in the process, we’ve side-lined the natural textiles that let us breathe, both literally and ethically. In the rush to make clothes cheaper, stronger, and more versatile, have we forgotten the true beauty of natural materials? The softness of cotton, the warmth of wool, the elegance of silk—materials that not only look good but feel good, too. When did we shift away from the simplicity and sustainability of nature’s finest fabrics? Being part of a brand that celebrates and prioritizes natural materials is both inspiring and humbling. It reinforces the timeless beauty of these resources and reflects a commitment to a sustainable future. Let’s take a step back and think about the world we’re creating for the future—one where fashion isn’t just about looking good, but feeling good about what we wear. Is it time to shift back to the natural side, or are we too tangled in this synthetic web to find our way out? #Sustainability #FashionFuture #NaturalVsUnnatural #Cotton

📢 Attention designers and fabric developers! Incorporating deadstock materials into your sustainability strategies is essential. Allow us to explain why: ♻️ 92% of the pollution from our garments originates from the material production process. This includes extracting or growing raw materials, creating fibers, and weaving or knitting fabrics. 🌍 This means that substantial sustainability gains can be achieved by not repeating this process repeatedly. While using deadstock materials alone may not suffice, it is a crucial step in the right direction. And we are here to assist you in this endeavor. Send us a message or check out website for more info: https://lnkd.in/eT_2SFEE Let’s work together to make the fashion industry more sustainable. 💚 #TheFabricConnector #sustainablestrategy #circularfashion #deadstock #deadstockdesign #zerowastefabrics #circularfashion #futureoffabrics
