🌍♻️🚮🌱 CubeMatch Group Earth Month Challenge 2024 🌍♻️🚮🌱  For the 4th edition of the challenge, our participants from across our six locations joined hands to reduce their environmental impact. The challenge theme was “Planet vs Plastic”, a theme designed to raise awareness about plastic waste and its impact on the environment and human health.     At CubeMatch we always encourage our employees to take part in ESG initiatives and we love to see how involved they get, starting brand new habits or improving existing practices.     Well done to all our participants for their amazing efforts and commitment! Thanks to them we have broken a new record in participation and donations! This year the money raised will go to Greenpeace, an international organisation dedicated to preserving endangered species, preventing environmental abuses, and heightening environmental awareness through peaceful protests and creative confrontations with polluting corporations and governmental authorities.    This really shows that even “a little goes a long way” and that we can all do our part and contribute to the protection of our environment and our planet!    At CubeMatch, we strongly believe that sustainable practices are not just a responsibility but also a pathway to success. It’s Earth Day today, and with it, we are reminded of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, encouraging us to come together and take action for a brighter future for our planet. The theme for Earth Day 2024 is the Planet vs. Plastics. Plastic pollution is a global crisis requiring urgent action, and the EARTHDAY.ORG is calling for a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040. Did you know that trillions of pieces of plastic pollute our oceans today, and the problem is worsening? One area where Boliden is contributing to sustainable development and a better world that aligns with the Earth Day theme this year is through our charity foundation Bcause in our supporting The Ocean Cleanup since 2017, a non-profit environmental organization that develops technology for removing plastic waste from the oceans and capturing trash in rivers before it reaches the ocean. Footprint. Handprint. Heartprint.
