*FOLLOW ME" 👇😎 It's a system where the robot is mounted on a linear track. When the operator has to perform movements that are larger than the usual working area of the robot, the track will allow the robot to reach larger spaces. The robot will physically move on the track independently following the movements of the operator. All these movements, in the “teaching” mode, will be recorded and repeated in the “automatic mode. No-code #robotics #solutions. This is an example of what we are trying to achieve To allow construction workers who work alongside robots to #teach any #robot a new task without have coding experience. This would be a great tool for operations like painting, spraying, sanding, and many more to come. - Drastically reduced robot programming time The ETT system significantly reduces the time required for the robot setup, cutting it from entire shifts to just minutes. - Transferring the know-how Record and transfer years of experience and expertise from skilled workers to an industrial robot. - No-coding solution Even a worker with minimal training can easily operate the system after a short introduction, eliminating the need for specialised robotics or programming knowledge. This could reduce construction costs, but more importantly reduce work related injuries in these areas. Consider a construction-bot or co-bot that can work alongside the human to lift the drywall sheets in place and then securely screw the drywall. If you have never hoisted drywall, give it a whirl and you will realize by sheet 2-3 how heavy it is, especially attaching overhead (even with drywall lifts it is not a fun experience). Now considering an 8-10 hour shift for a human doing just that task. The other tasks shown with "mudding", "sanding" and painting are also labor intensive and have risks, breathing in the drywall dust or paint fumes is not a good thing for humans. These robots can improve for certain, perhaps better designs for smaller areas, and the ability to operate more autonomously. But this is a great start. #robotics #construction #cobots #robothelpers

Behind the scenes! South Coast Robotics' dedicated teams are working behind the scenes programming four FANUC America Corporation robots, two collaborative and two industrial, for varying applications. One industrial robot is being programmed by the SCR team to unload wheels from a forming fixture and load them into a clamping fixture. The other industrial robot and a collaborative robot are being programmed to work side-by-side in a sanding and buffing application for the aerospace industry. The last collaborative robot is picking small tubes and placing them into a fixture, which is also for the aerospace industry. In need of customized robotic solutions? South Coast Robotics is your trusted partner for seamless engineering, programming, and integration of robots across a wide range of industries and applications. www.southcoastrobotics.com #southcoastrobotics #scr #fanuc #fanucrobots #robots #robotics #industrialrobots #collaborativerobots #scara #scararobot #automationsystem #automation #industrialautomation #systems #systemintegration #engineering #programming #pickandplace #palletizing #depalletizing #inspection #assembly #machineloading #machineunloading #automotiveautomation #aerospaceautomation

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗖𝗔𝗗 Creating custom parts for robots can be challenging, but tools like FreeCAD make it much easier—especially when you can use reference images for accuracy. By importing images of the robot as a base, FreeCAD allows for precise modeling that matches the robot’s existing structure and design. With FreeCAD, designing custom parts becomes more efficient and manageable. Whether for prototyping or full-scale production, this workflow ensures parts are accurate and ready for assembly. Here’s a look at a part I created using FreeCAD, with the robot images as a reference! #FreeCAD #Robotics Dr. John Vial

I completely agree that this DIY wheel-legged robot chassis is a game-changer in the field of robotics. The combination of wheels and legs provides unparalleled stability and adaptability, making it an ideal solution for navigating complex and uneven terrain. As you mentioned, projects like these push the boundaries of what's possible and inspire others to think creatively. I'd love to see more details about the design and engineering process behind this project. Have you come across any information about the materials or software used to build this robot? @
🤖Technology Tuesday🤖 ❗DIY Wheel-Legged Robot Chassis❗ Stumbled upon this incredibly impressive DIY project where a wheel-legged robot chassis was brought to life! 🤖✨ This ingenious design combines the stability of wheels with the adaptability of legs, allowing the robot to traverse uneven terrain with ease. It's a brilliant showcase of what creativity, engineering skills, and a passion for robotics can achieve. While this isn't my project, I want to share it with the community. It's projects like these that push the boundaries of what's possible in robotics and inspire others to think outside the box. Kudos to the creator(s) for their innovation and hard work! 👏 #robotics #innovation #technology

#snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking Robotics is the engineering branch that deals with the conception, design, construction, operation, application, and usage of robots. Digging a little deeper, we see that robots are defined as an automatically operated machine that carries out a series of actions independently and does the work usually accomplished by a human. Incidentally, robots don’t have to resemble humans, although some do. Look at images of automobile assembly lines for proof. Robots that appear human are typically referred to as “androids.” Although robot designers make their creations appear human so that people feel more at ease around them, it’s not always the case. Some people find robots, especially ones that resemble people, creepy.
