Hiring for the position of Engineer – Costing Suitable profile may share before 16.08.24 to seetaram1706@gmail.com Experience - 4 years RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES • Developing a reasonable product cost estimation method for sheet metal, electrical & other items • Negotiation with supplier for part & product cost settlement for sheet metal parts. • Costing of components for sourcing & selection of the supplier. • Validating the supplier costing & finalizing the cost with the supplier. • Localization of the part which is imported for the product. • Participate in Benchmarking workshops and generate cost reduction ideas & savings. • Cost out measures for reducing the BOM cost. • Material price monitoring & revising for each quarter. • Consumer review study of a product for improving new function & features. • Analysing break-even point for manufacturing savings of a product & comparison with MSRP • Generating ideas and evaluating cost savings in the ideas. • Developing cost models & templates for different manufacturing processes & commodities. QUALIFICATION & SKILLS: • Min Qualification -Diploma in Mechanical- Min 2-3 Years’ experience • Basic Knowledge of Auto Cad / 3D Modelling • Understand the drawing parameters • Underhand the materiality (Specification/ norms) • Having the knowledge to estimate the cost of items like (Sheet metal & Copper Piping) based on a formula
