Hot take: You won’t get help if you don’t ask for it—both in life and in communities. Let’s rethink why we join communities. If we’re not planning to actively participate, we’re not just wasting our money—we’re also undervaluing the time and efforts of community managers. Commit to being an active participant or reconsider your involvement in communities you are part of. #community #CommunityBuilding
You're 100% right! And yet, I'm a silent member of many communities.. I think we're all so overwhelmed and also constantly feeling FOMO. It's a vicious cycle and unless or until we are able to be content with simplicity, we'll always be in this race to mental exhaustion.
You only get what you ask for! Just be nice about it.
You're SPOT ON here, Kasia Triantafelo! Communities live from thriving & engaged community members 🚀 Yet, I also catch myself loving to give BUT having a hard time asking for help (both in life & in communities). Thanks for the reminder that that's what communities are here for :)

4moYes! 👏… we have two values in ours which underpin this… 1. Learn in public- there’s no “silly” questions- dont be afraid to ask anything big or small. Learn out loud and be brave enough to ask 2. Give back generously- even if youre not here to ask for help, do what you can to help others- advice, coffee etc. Both are working amazingly well 🔥
