The cost to hire for a senior role if prolonged to 2+ months is $35 000. Moreover, long, complex hiring processes lose great candidates. Apart from sending the wrong message to all candidates. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. When I was building my startup, we did not have that kind of money. Or time. We needed to ship our product. While hiring, which turned out to be a full-time position for me. A person with no experience (at the time). Desperate times call for desperate measures. I created a blueprint of tech interviewing process. 2 hours per candidate - from Hi! to hired. Simple rejection emails to let everyone else get their closure. Grab it if you need it. Read through it if you are drowning in work. Implement it if you still do not have a great interview process. https://lnkd.in/dW3-NvaM #interviewprocess #techhiring #assessdev
