We’re not protected by anyone. Let’s be real. We’re the modern global slave class. As the world’s labor needs shifted, it just chose a new target to exploit. Members from every single racial-gender demographic combo have proven to me that they firmly believe that they have some kind of entitlement to hurt, abuse, and control me whenever they please based on my identity relative to their own, and they will not hesitate to escalate to the highest forms of violence if I refuse to submit, or even just raise questions. I have been physically assaulted by black and white strangers on the street. Everyone accepts this. This hatred has been suffocating. These crimes against me just keep piling up. Justice is dead. Stop contributing to our own erasure and subjugation by even entertaining the assertion that we are “white-adjacent”. And by the way, Arthur Chan: it will primarily be Asian women and girls who will bear the most horrific consequences of your betrayal.
