Congratulations to the 2024 #xTechInternational finalists! The US Army's xTech program is the most successful USG-funded program I know of at identifying impactful international emerging tech startups and teaching them how to partner effectively with the USG (in this case with the United States Department of Defense). This year's finalists are among the most innovative international startups working on #AI for intelligence and decision-making, #Quantum sensing, and Indigenous Materials Forward. They come from Australia, Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom (see company info in the attached link). Its encouraging to see the Army and DOD recognizing and engaging emerging tech ecosystems throughout the world, and providing mentorship and exprtise to these companies to help accelerate and transition their technologies into the DOD Science and Technology ecosystem.
