Today we launch our Net Zero Strategy, Gascoyne's foundation upon which we are building our long-term approach to sustainable business. In making this statement publicly, we are committing to rewiring the whole of Gascoyne's business - from farming through to strategic land development. We face challenges due to the nature of our historic property portfolio, and our involvement in carbon-intensive sectors. But we also have enormous opportunities to embrace innovation, increase carbon sequestration, and make a wider contribution to the green transition. #netzero #sustainability #sustainablebusiness #innovation

Are you struggling with your Net Zero strategy? This report from Gascoyne Estates feels like a great way to approach it, an honest look at where they are now, where the struggles and challenges are, their goals for where they want to be and an openness to collaborate to get there. As we develop our carbon sequestration plan at Fleecegrow , we are looking for organisations like this who are looking for solutions and collaboration.

This week on ClimateTalks, we had a fascinating discussion with Alex Saer, CEO of Cercarbono. Our conversation explored the intricacies of their certification program, offered invaluable advice for landowners eager to enter the carbon market, and explored the current challenges and future outlook of the Voluntary Carbon Market (#VCM). This article highlights key takeaways from our discussion, but to truly capture the full essence of Alex's insights, we highly recommend watching the complete interview at the end of this blog. https://lnkd.in/dp2JnFf2 #CarbonMarket #Sustainability #Cercarbono #ClimateAction #Article6

Take a look at this video. Half Boat, Half Plane, Electric, Clean. As this industry takes off, it can transform commuting, housing, working, jobs, commerce, economics and more by using an overlooked asset.. ferries... but this time modern. Inspiring work by Sampriti Bhattacharyya.
Worth a watch! Great segment on Navier about how zero-emission electric hydrofoiling vessels can be the game-changer for coastal cities! We are super excited about WETA's electric ferry initiative under Executive Director Seamus Murphy and the work city officials like Melissa Blaustein are doing to connect places like Sausalito with high-speed, zero-emission water transit. In the coming years, we look forward to working with various operators in the Bay Area (and beyond!) to help them transition from their gas/diesel boats to a cleaner, cost-efficient alternative. We are grateful to our early investor and advisor, Rich Miner, for his support! https://lnkd.in/gfnvRs6w

ALTRA has achieved an important milestone in our ongoing mission to conserve our precious drinking water resources. Through the installation of our groundbreaking ALTRA10X technology across 350 cities in North America, covering a total distance of over 1,500 miles, we have successfully saved an astounding 5.1 billion gallons of drinking water to date. The magnitude of this achievement is truly awe-inspiring, and it underscores the immense impact we are making in water conservation efforts. Consider for a moment the significance of this achievement. Just imagine the vastness of 5.1 billion gallons of water, once wasted, now preserved for future generations. This milestone highlights the tangible difference our ALTRA10X trenchless technology is making in addressing the critical issue of water scarcity. It exemplifies our unwavering commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and the responsible use of our planet's valuable resources.🌎 ➡️https://lnkd.in/eH_WKEjj
