PACE (Primary, Alternative, Contingency, Emergency) methodology is needed to deliver effective communications during defense operations but it is also vital for governments for border security, search and rescue and emergency services. In the event of a failure of a Primary communications system, it is critical to have reliable and resilient back ups to ensure seamless communication for critical systems. It is therefore vital to create diverse communication links to account for unpredictable variables and have reliability within any contingency planning. If one level fails, then another must be in place to bring resiliency. The OuterNET™ brings a capability to PACE unlike any other COMSATCOM system.
