Hey there brothers, sisters, friends and new faces…. In this episode, we delve into the concept of the "unworthy" God. We discuss the modern trend among Christians to dismiss the Old Testament. We examine statements from contemporary Christian leaders and contrast them with Jesus' own words, affirming His connection to the God of the Old Testament. We discuss the importance of the Old Testament in understanding Jesus' mission and character, and how dismissing it undermines the foundation of the New Testament. So, join us as we uncover the continuity between the Old and New Testaments and reaffirm the worthiness of God in both. #bible #biblestudy #spiritualleadership #spiritualdevelopment https://lnkd.in/exP7g4wY

January 4: Guidance Verse: "A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." – Proverbs 16:9 (NKJV) Commentary: Plans are essential, but God’s guidance is the ultimate compass. King Solomon, who penned this proverb, understood the balance between human initiative and divine direction. Early in his reign, Solomon planned to lead Israel with wisdom and discernment, but he recognized his own limitations. In prayer, he asked God for understanding to govern His people well. This request aligned Solomon’s plans with God’s purpose, resulting in unmatched wisdom and prosperity for his kingdom. When we seek God’s direction, even the best-laid plans become aligned with His will. Trusting Him in our strategic decisions ensures outcomes that reflect His glory and fulfill His purpose. Question: What specific steps can you take today to invite God’s direction into your strategic decisions?

No matter what you think of me and what drives me to the truth of the matter, think on these things…I found this 30 years ago… I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I will not look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed. My present makes sense. My future is secured. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals. My face is set. My gait is fast. My goal is heaven. My road is narrow. My way is rough. My companions are few. My guide is reliable. My mission is clear. I will not give up, shut up, or let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, for the cause of Jesus Christ. I must go until He comes, give until I drop, preach until everyone knows, work until He stops me and when He comes for His own, He will have no trouble recognizing me because my banner will have been clear. With this kind of resolve we will, with God's help, have the strength to survive against our cultural stream, or perhaps even reverse it. Of course, we are a minority, but armed with the promises of God we can have a spiritual impact that is greater than our numbers might suggest. It may come down to a simple question: Are we willing to pay the price? https://lnkd.in/gmsWyGX3
