Hi everyone, I’m Jasmin, a UX designer and currently working at Elektrobit on the UX and UI of the outstanding electric car concept AFEELA. Together with my great colleagues of the of EB UX team and the highly skilled and innovative design team of our customer, Sony Honda Mobility, led by Hidehiro Komatsu.
While I’m deeply passionate about my current work, I’d like to share something very close to my heart: my Master’s thesis.
I have a background in Media Design (B.A.) Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg and International Corporate Communication and Media Management (M.A.) Hochschule Neu-Ulm. For my Master’s thesis, I explored how AI can facilitate inclusive and transparent decision-making processes, achieving top marks (1.0). (Supervisor Dr. Markus Caspers 💐)
The thesis, titled “The Future of Work: A Concept to Design an Intelligent Management Tool for Participative Decisions”, resulted in a detailed framework supported by use cases, a sitemap, and initial wireframes.
Here’s a quick overview of the concept:
- Core Idea: The tool aims to support participatory decision-making in companies, politics, and society. Decisions go through structured phases, combining human input and AI validation to achieve the best outcomes.
- AI’s Role: AI processes complex data to ensure substantiated, unbiased options, empowering people with better decision-making tools.
- Scalability: While initially designed for business use, the concept can be scaled to areas like policymaking, urban planning, and education.
- Why this matters: Many existing decision-making models prioritize personal interests or short-term profits, often at the expense of long-term sustainability or societal well-being. My concept reimagines decision-making as fair, transparent, and collaborative, fostering better outcomes for all stakeholders.
I’m looking to further develop this idea and would love to connect with individuals or organizations interested in ethical AI, participatory frameworks, or decision-making innovations. If you have any thoughts, ideas, or recommendations, I’d be thrilled to hear from you!
In January 2025, I’ll be at CES, supporting Sony Honda Mobility on-site before the event opens. Once my work is done, I’d be happy to connect if schedules align.
Elektrobit and Sony Honda Mobility exhibits showcase groundbreaking work and are definitely worth visiting. Both teams would greatly appreciate your visit!
Thank you for your time and support! I’d greatly appreciate it if you could share this post to help spread the word or connect me with others who might be interested.
Take care :)
Jasmin
