In case you missed it, Jennifer Walker put this webinar together so that we could share constructive information for the current bovine outbreak of H5N1. Dr Lombard talks about initial epi findings of investigations into H5N1 on affected dairies. Dr Petersen discussed on farm clinical signs in cows, treatment suggestions, worker safety and more. Dr Korslund discussed some swine learnings and barriers for the current outbreak. I discuss implications of B3.13 on commercial poultry and lessons from poultry we might translate for cattle (controlled (product) marketing).

For those interested and who missed it or were like me and were multitasking (managing the backstage) and want to watch it again, here is the link to the H5N1 Real World Round Table I pulled together October 24, 2024. Thank you again Dr's Russo, Petersen, Lombard and Korslund for the information and dialogue. At a solid 2 hours, consider this the H5N1 Eras Webitour :) From boots on the ground clinical picture, to on-farm epidemiology, the biology of H5N1 in poultry and what this may mean big picture, they provided a timely and transparent update. #BeKind #BeAGoodNeighbor
