📢Samarkand hosted an annual international conference of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) on capital markets ConFEAS 2024. A delegation of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the KASE Clearing Center participated in the conference. This year, the busy program of the event includes six panel discussions covering topics relevant to the participating countries: ·        The architecture of financial markets’ infrastructures; ·        Capital markets development trends and challenges; ·        Beyond capital markets: tools, technologies and synergies; ·        Financial intermediation: challenges and business opportunities; ·        Pre- and post-trade infrastructures: driver or anchor?; ·        ESG and IR: concerning points. 🔸Stock exchanges play a crucial role in facilitating the entry of companies into the public market. Exchanges are committed to play their role in fostering the economic growth by providing business finance and liquidity management platforms, technological innovation and best business practices. 🔸“Participants of the conference will have to come to an answer to global questions: how can stock exchanges cooperate internationally to create standard approaches, regulatory frameworks and technological interfaces, and contribute to creation of a unified and sustainable global financial system? In addition, one of the discussions focuses on the role of market infrastructures and intermediaries in the economy, as well as tools, technologies and synergies beyond capital markets,” said the organizers of ConFEAS 2024. 🔸The delegation from Kazakhstan, together with its colleagues from other countries, studies in more details the issues of building the market infrastructure, introducing the new tools and developing the communications between issuers and investors. 🔸In-depth discussion of these and other issues pursues provision of participants with deeper understanding of the pressing issues, professional views of leading experts, and practical solutions for improvement of corporate governance practices and investor relations.
