If you didn’t catch our recent Spool Sessions video, Pete discussed how important it is to test and maintain your smoke alarms. Remember smoke alarms are important and you *will* want them working in the event of a fire, not just to save your home, but you and your family too. Checking your smoke alarms at least twice a year is as easy as holding the ‘test’ button on your smoke alarm for 5-7 seconds. This should sound the alarm. If it doesn’t, change your battery and try again. If that still doesn’t work, call us to come replace it.
