It's no secret that even the largest telcos in markets around the world have been struggling to obtain growth and have mostly failed at creating value. The folks at STL Partners have done some great research on what the telco/CSP of 2030 could look like, including how the various business models (traditional telco, InfraCo, ServCo, TechCo) are suited to avoiding value destruction. This graph shows that its predominantly the telcos that are leaning more into the ServCo or TechCo business models that are able to generate value.
