What took you to $10k/month is not what takes you to $20k/month. It's not so much doing more; it's improving how you do things. When we began scaling, the first thing we needed to do was take a serious look at our systems. We made them lean—stripping off all the fat and bottlenecks that were preventing our growth. Then we documented every critical task with SOPs. This is what allows us to scale with consistency without dropping the ball. Then, we automated the repetitious tasks, which freed up time for doing work that could actually drive growth. We didn't just work harder, we worked smarter. And that made all the difference

What I learned as I built a 65 million a yr business Post 5: Systems Create Scalability At the $65 million level, it’s not just about hustle—it’s about systems. You need to develop and implement strong processes that allow you to scale without breaking. Automation, clear roles, repeatable workflows—these are the unsung heroes of growth. Without them, your team will hit a ceiling, no matter how hard they work. Knowing what to do and who is responsible for what helps when a challenge arises and if someone needs time off. The sooner you can establish SOPs the better of you will be as you scale!

Can you do a few hours here and there? That’s what dabblers like to ask when they want to run their internal ops more efficiently. It’s fear of committing to systematizing. As if running things more smoothly would eat up your business. Founders of growing companies who are able to step away from working inside their business don’t dabble. They have a process person in place to guide them through systematizing their business. They don’t just create an SOP here. Then implement an automation here and there. They don’t constantly switch tools and chase the next shiny object. Doing random small tweaks in the weeds without a systems strategy in place is more busy work. Founders of growing companies have a system for systematizing so they actually do less busy work. It’s a step-by-step process with a game plan and they follow it through to completion. Do you have a system for systematizing your growing business?

The biggest mistake in business scaling? Focusing on revenue, instead of PROFIT. • Chase likes instead of leads • Build complex systems before proving core concept • Hire expensive talent before creating predictable income streams

🛠 Scaling Isn’t About Hard Work—It’s About Smart Systems 🛠 Here’s a truth bomb: Hard work isn’t enough to grow a business sustainably. It’s not about burning the midnight oil—it’s about working smarter. 👉🏼 The Secret to Scaling with Ease? Delegation: You shouldn’t be doing everything yourself. Systemization: Streamline the backend so things run smoothly, even when you're not looking. Automation: Set up workflows that save you time and mental energy. The most successful businesses aren’t run by people working the hardest—they’re run by people who invest in the right systems.

An often overlooked benefit of bootstrapping is our freedom from chasing arbitrary metrics. 🎯 We have flexibility to pause taking on new customers. We can confidently say no to bad fits. Prioritize the long-term health of our company and team over short-term revenue gains 💪
