Here’s another blog post! Being a first gen college graduate was very special to my family, my community and myself. Flo-Ops’ goals is to help everyone finish college regardless of socio-economic backgrounds and lack of resources. The best way to do this is by building #community , in a tailored way for every Higher Ed institution. Today, especially post-Covid, #highered programs are providing distance learning opportunities, however the numbers are staggering. Over 50% of students who enroll in distance learning programs drop out! We also found out why… Check out the steps we are taking to fix this! #distancelearning #retention #completion
Numbers tell a story, and at Flo-Ops, we're rewriting the narrative on dropout rates in Higher Education Distance Learning. Dive into the article here:

A Parent’s Safety Concerns and the Promise of STMs...something that I want everyone to understand . The transparent process of STMs is a MUST KNOW item. Let me explain How STMs Can Alleviate Parents' Safety Concerns I recently received a call from a dear friend who is increasingly apprehensive about sending her child to school due to safety concerns. Her worries are valid, and I completely understand where she's coming from. In our conversation, I couldn't help but wish that STMs were already a standard practice in schools. A robust STM system could help alleviate many of these fears. By building strong, trusting relationships between students and teachers, we can significantly reduce the chances of issues like child abuse. When students feel safe and connected to their teachers, the likelihood of them facing harm decreases drastically. STMs offer more than just academic benefits; they can also provide parents with peace of mind, knowing that their children are cared for and understood. A system that fosters open communication and trust can help dispel the fears that many parents have about their children's safety. I believe STMs could be a game-changer in addressing these concerns. If you’d like to learn more about this, please reach out for a copy of my book or to share your thoughts. STM: STUDENT TEACHER MEET is an Amazon Best seller now!
