7 key questions I always ask before I start designing anything: 1. Why are we doing this? 2. Who are we doing this for? 3. What evidence do we have? 4. How do we measure success? 5. Are there any significant risks? 6. Are there technical restrictions? 7. Who needs to be involved? It doesn’t really matter if you call this design thinking, feature scoping, or lean design canvas. And it doesn't matter if it's on a whiteboard, a document, or any other medium (except a napkin) as long as your team can access and align on it. Any methodology or practice you follow will come down to asking these questions over and over again.
