When we embarked on the Undrads journey, we knew we were setting out on a path that demanded more than just innovation—it required a #team that could turn ideas into reality, a group of individuals who could see beyond the horizon and dare to chase the impossible. The Seed of a #Vision In the early days of Undrads, our office was just a basement with a handful of desks, a whiteboard full of ambitious plans, and the relentless hum of determination. But beyond the codes and strategies, we knew that our true strength would come from the people who joined us on this journey. The Coffee Shop Interview I still remember one of the first interviews I conducted for Undrads. It was at a local coffee shop, where I was sitting with a friend and then I met a co-founder in her, who wasn’t just skilled—she was passionate. As we sipped our coffee and talked about the future of ad tech, it became clear that she wasn’t just looking for a job; she was looking for a mission. By the end of that conversation, I knew we had found not just a co-founder but a co-visionary. Building the #DreamTeam As we began to grow, each new hire wasn’t just filling a role—they were adding a new dimension to our collective vision. We looked for people who didn’t just have the right skills but also the right mindset. People who could challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and most importantly, collaborate in a way that amplifies everyone’s potential. Shared #Vision, Shared #Success: We didn’t just bring people on board; we brought them into our vision. From day one, everyone at Undrads understood that they weren’t just working on a product—they were helping to build the future of advertising. (Someone can be good at more than 1, but all 3 is very rare) (And all 3 are needed iteratively throughout a company's lifecycle which is why they need to come from the founders.) If you just have #1 - you’ll never get past ideation phase If you just have #2 - you’ll never get from seed to series A If you just have #3 - you’ll trick yourself through the first few stages, but won’t get to lasting differentiation/scale.
