It has been already 1-year at Kenneth Park Architects (KPA), and I feel like I am already becoming a retail guy! Fortunate to be working in teams like Lacoste, Harry Winston, Visual Comforts & Co., and have worked in Bucherer and Studs projects across various states in the USA. Everyday I feel like there are thousands of elements to learn from to know how to navigate in this field. Different clients and projects operate differently, their standards, project scopes and expectation from us are different too. Even different project managers and teams operate differently too. The challenge is to understand the balance, and establish ownership of the projects! Coming years, I just plan to establish more ownership, accept more challenges, keep delivering great projects, enjoy what I do and be one of the seasoned retail guys in the field!
“If you really enjoy what you do and work hard, and be diligent about what you do, be sincere about what you do, and be really careful about what you do, nothing else matters” Glad to start a new chapter in my career under the mentorship of Ken Park; and am already fortunate to be assigned in the team for a flagship store project in NYC! Let’s become a retail guy!
