Established in 2017 in the Jiangsu Province of China, Shuyang Genzon Novel Materials (NM) is a part of the Genzon Group and specialises in the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. This is a high-performance, crystal clear thermoplastic film with high tensile strength, excellent dimensional stability, and low moisture absorption. With a production capacity of 120,000 tons, Shuyan Genzon were keen to improve productivity and reduce waste to maximise the revenue from the fixed production capacity. Deploying X-Trim has delivered excellent results for Shuyan Genzon, delivering a significant reduction in trim waste, allowing for increased throughput, reducing unused inventory, and increasing revenue. 📢 Exciting Breakthrough in Baijiu Authenticity Detection! 🥂 We are thrilled to share a groundbreaking study published in our journal, "Rapid identification of high-temperature Daqu Baijiu with the same aroma type by UV-VIS sensor of HBT combined with Zn2+". 🔬 Researchers have developed a novel UV-VIS spectroscopy sensor method using 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole (HBT) combined with Zn2+ to quickly and accurately identify high-temperature Daqu Baijiu, even among samples with the same aroma type. This innovative approach not only enhances the specificity of spectral detection but also reduces analysis time to under 3 minutes! ⏰ 🔍 Key Highlights: Achieved 100% classification accuracy with the Random Forest model. Successfully predicted 12 Maillard reaction products, crucial for Baijiu's flavor profile. Demonstrated effective adulteration detection with the DD-SIMCA model, achieving accuracy rates between 90% and 100%. 🛡️This study opens new doors for rapid and reliable authentication of high-value Baijiu, protecting consumers and the industry from counterfeit products.
