Why is TeleTraining’s corporate training different? Here’s what an employee from an Australian Tier 1 builder had to say: ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐ “Very good precast course! Particularly informative on how to read precast drawings. The post-tensioning course is also very informative, with lots of good information about post-tensioning, including risk identification. Regarding the concrete material and placement course, I found it very informative and easy to follow, especially the information on admixtures that I wasn’t aware of.” 👉 Corporate training can tangibly contribute to the construction industry's risk reduction when technical content is delivered effectively. 👉 Our online corporate training for construction companies includes essential technical knowledge that site crews must be aware of to avoid risks and defects. 👉 Find the full video on our website: https://lnkd.in/gVq2gcH4 #TheRealCorporateTraining for the construction industry!

Throwing it back to Mr. Thow's training day! 🕰️ Today, let's delve into the intricate world of construction variations from a contractual perspective. 💼🏗️ At the heart of it, a variation refers to any change in the original scope of work agreed upon in the contract. 📜 It could be a change in design, materials, or even the method of construction. These variations can arise due to several factors, including unforeseen site conditions, design errors, or client requests. From Mr. Thow's training, we learned that managing variations effectively is key to keeping projects on track and stakeholders happy. Navigating these variations requires a keen understanding of the contractual framework in place. Contracts typically outline procedures for documenting and pricing variations, ensuring transparency and fairness for all parties involved. 💰💼 As we look back on Mr. Thow's training journey, let's remember the importance of grasping the nuances of construction variations. They may add twists and turns to the project narrative, but with the right knowledge and approach, they can be managed effectively to ensure project success. 🌟 #ThrowbackTuesday #ConstructionContracts #Variations101 ##LifeLongLearning #PublicTraining

Engineering & Construction Online Courses (This programme consists of two online courses. Part A 14 & 15 May 2024 and Part B 10 & 11 September 2024) PART A : Understanding the intricacies of Construction Law from a South African common law perspective. PART B: In depth review of standard form engineering and construction contracts and dispute avoidance/resolution mechanisms About this programme: Construction projects can be technically very complex and dynamic and involve a multitude of parties and contracts. Most of these contracts are based on standard forms that are recognised internationally. Due to the unique nature of engineering and construction contracts, the laws (mostly common law, but also statutory laws) regulating the relationships, rights and responsibilities under these contracts have morphed into a separate area of law known as Construction Law. Both courses are presented online over 2 days each (3 hours per day). It is not compulsory to attend both courses as they are presented independent from one another. You can choose whether you want to attend only one or both. Each course has its own certification. It is, however, advisable to attend both. https://lnkd.in/duFAbpZs
