Second Post in a Series: 🥩 Carnivores can love plant-based burgers! 🍔 🌿 🤟 She was leery but loved it! Every other week we would drive the Jackie Mays Burger food truck to the Safran corporate offices and serve lunch. In the early days, no one had heard of Jackie Mays, and many if not most of Safran’s ~500 employees at that site were hearty meat-eaters. But after a few visits, the word spread throughout the building that “you just had to try” these plant-based burgers, and more and more meat-eaters became regulars. And so it was when Keisha visited us, enjoyed our food, and volunteered to be recorded (below). We would see a lot more of her after that.
