When you're part of a team, it's no longer about you. It's about the team. Don’t let your ego cause you to view every decision/interaction as being about you and your wants, needs, expectations. Align your vision with the team’s vision. Be about the team. Humility is the way.

After 3years of struggling to get what I have as an idea to an actual product, I have come to a conclusion that team building is one of the hardest to ever do. Especially when there are no direct benefits attached. Until I came to understand that every teammember ought to see their personal life goals in the vision I present, we would keep struggling to get a simple task done. And in a month, our revamped team has made 50% progress to M.V.P completion against the inefficient workflow of 3years. What challenge have you face building a team? How did you overcome them?

There's no task impossible for a united and focused team. The strength of a team lies in its unity. What if tasks ain't being accomplished because the team isn't together mentally? What if the organizations that achieve more simply have a dedicated team? You can be a boss and tell people what to do or you can be an leader and watch your team follow your footsteps and blow your mind with their creativity. The choice lies within you.

The best team members are the ones who can make mistakes. And own them. You read that right. We ALL make mistakes (except for me because I’m perfect ;) ). What truly counts is how we handle our mistakes. If a team member makes a mistake and can make an effort to learn from it and move forward, they get an A+ from me. If we aren't winning, we are LEARNING, right!?! What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from making a mistake at work?

u can get more done without a team than with a team if you have to continuously micromanage the team and it takes away from your vision & focus u need 1-2 good people in ur corner than can accomplish tasks for you while you're working on things that's it

In every journey, mistakes are not just inevitable; they are invaluable. As a team, we must embrace our missteps, learn from them, and turn them into stepping stones for success. Acknowledging our challenges together fosters resilience and innovation. Let’s not shy away from our errors, but instead open up about them, collaborate on solutions, and take decisive action to pave the way forward. It’s through our collective courage that we transform setbacks into opportunities.

Honestly, the difference between making a solid profit and barely breaking even comes down to how you manage your team. You’ve got to communicate clearly, set realistic timelines, and keep everyone accountable. It’s not the flashy part of flipping, but it’s *everything.* Whether it’s your first flip or your fiftieth, here’s the golden rule I’ve learned: a solid team = a solid flip. Period.

MAKE YOURSELF LESS: To unlock the full potential of your team, you must humble yourself. Often, individuals rely too heavily on their titles or positions to push their viewpoints forward. The truth is, having more perspectives involved in work duties increases visibility on both pain points and improvement solutions.
